NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OPEN SCHOOLING

M.W.A offers the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) curriculum to students who wish to strike a balance between their academic and non-academic interests, concentrate on competitive exams to achieve their long-term goals, or wish to learn at an altered pace.

This is an internationally recognised curriculum and students have been known to pursue further studies both nationally and internationally, with their NIOS transcripts.

Special teaching techniques are applied to ensure every child is able to grasp key concepts and feel at ease in the learning environment.

As a part of the NIOS curriculum offered by M.W.A, our girls get exposed to much more than the standard academic subjects. Through these subjects we aim to give our students a wider choice of subjects, so that they can focus on what they are interested in, and in the process begin to ‘learn’ and not just ‘study’.

The Senior Secondary students baked up a storm in their Bakery and Confectionery practical and ginger candy, and carrot preserve for their home science practical. Walking through our school corridors that day made us yearn to step in and try a bite!
