Mrs. Mumtaz was honoured with the Best Supporting Staff Award for the month of November 2025, in recognition of her dedication, sincerity, and valuable service to the school community. Her commitment and quiet hard work truly reflect the spirit of MWA.

This proud moment reflects the dedication, trust, and collective efforts of our students, teachers, parents, and staff as we continue our journey towards excellence in education.

We are proud to recognise Sufiyan of Class V C as our Best Azaan Student for the sincere and melodious way he delivers the call to prayer. His recitation reminded us of the greatness of Allah, touched many hearts and encouraged a deeper love for Salah within our school. His efforts honoured the spirit of worship and brought a gentle sense of faith to our community. May Allah bless him and accept his humble service.

On 20th November 2025, the Valedictory Function of Seerah Week was held in the afternoon session in the gracious presence of our Guests of Honour, Mrs Begum Seema Ahmed and Mrs Suraiya Masood, along with the office bearers and Executive Committee members. The function celebrated the efforts and talents of students from MWA and the participating schools. The Best School Award was presented to Al-Hira Model School for its excellent overall performance. The programme ended with words of appreciation for all, bringing Seerah Week to a memorable close.

On 18th November 2025, Seerah Week began with great enthusiasm as students from 17 visiting schools arrived at MWA School, bringing joy and excitement to the campus. Day 1 featured storytelling, recitation, and an expressive Islamic Fancy Dress event. Through these activities, children shared beautiful messages of compassion, truthfulness, and good character, giving a meaningful and graceful start to the three-day celebration.

On 19th November 2025, the second day of Seerah Week unfolded with inspiring moments of knowledge and reflection. Students participated enthusiastically in the Seerah Quiz, Young Orators rounds and the heartfelt competition on Dua, where their clarity, confidence and sincerity shone through. The day highlighted not only their preparation but also their growing understanding of values, wisdom and moral strength, making the day truly enriching for all.

On 20th November 2025, the forenoon session of the final day of Seerah Week featured outstanding performances by the senior students. The events included Multimedia Presentations, Just-a-Minute challenges, and the Qur’an–Hadith Quiz. Students displayed great creativity, confidence, and a strong understanding of the topics. Their sincere efforts made the session meaningful and inspiring, bringing the Inter-School Competitions to a proud and successful close for the entire school community.

On 14th November 2025, Children’s Day was happily celebrated at MWA School, where students from Nursery to Std V came in colourful outfits, enjoyed fun activities and watched a cheerful cartoon, while students from Classes VI to XII shared a joyful Potluck Lunch, making the day special with smiles and togetherness across the campus.

From 10th to 13th November 2025, students from Classes I to IX actively took part in the Indian Talent Olympiad 2025–26, exploring subjects such as Social Studies, Hindi, English, Computer Science, Maths, and more. The Olympiad encouraged students to explore beyond textbooks, helping them develop creativity, confidence and independent thinking.

On 5th November 2025, the Maths and Science Expo at MWA School became a shining moment of pride, as our students amazed everyone with their brilliant ideas, confident presentations and marvellous creativity, proving that young minds can create wonders.

On 31st October 2025, the Nursery students brought the theme “Raḥmathul lil-‘Ālamīn, Mercy to All the Worlds” to life through their cute and joyful performances, filling the campus with the message of mercy and kindness.

On 1st November 2025, the Deen and Life Club of MWA School conducted Elocution and Calligraphy activities with the theme “Rahmatal lil Alameen”, where students expressed the teachings of mercy through meaningful speeches and artistic writing.

On 3rd November 2025, our Nursery, LKG and UKG students stepped into the world of learning with excitement as they participated in the Silver Olympiad 2025–26. Through fun-filled challenges in English, Maths and EVS, the little learners displayed curiosity, confidence and a growing love for learning.

Mrs. Chandra received the Best Supporting Staff Award for October 2025, celebrating her consistent effort, commitment, and positive spirit that enriches the MWA community.

Grade XII B was honoured with the Best Class Award for the month of October 2025, in appreciation of their teamwork, perseverance and consistent pursuit of excellence.

On 25th October 2025, 31 students from Classes V to IX of MWA School visited the Adyar Cancer Institute to receive the HPV vaccine as part of a vaccination drive organised by the Rotary Cancer and Research Foundation, taking a significant step towards safeguarding their health.

On 31st October 2025, the Humanities Essay Writing Competition brought together students of Classes IX to XII to share their ideas with clarity and creativity. Classes IX and X wrote on “The Role of History in Shaping National Identity,” while Classes XI and XII explored “How Rising Sea Levels Threaten Coastal Cities.” The event inspired thoughtful perspectives and a deeper interest in global issues.

On 30th October 2025, a Mental Health Programme on ‘Friendship & Anti-Bullying’ was conducted for Class IX. The session helped students understand the value of building healthy, respectful and empathetic relationships while encouraging open conversations on kindness, boundaries and positive communication among peers.

On 30th October 2025, the Science Seminar for Classes XI and XII was held, where students presented insightful topics with confidence and originality. Each presentation reflected their creative thinking and genuine interest in exploring the world of science.

On 29th October 2025, the Science Seminar for Classes IX and X brought together young minds who presented their ideas with clarity, creativity and confidence. The event inspired curiosity and encouraged students to explore science beyond the classroom.

On 25th October 2025, the Eco Club of MWA School organised a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Raḥmatun lil-‘Ālamīn (Mercy to all the worlds)”, where students expressed through art that faith at its heart is mercy for people, nature and all living beings.

On 24th October 2025, our talented students were honoured by India Post with a special token of appreciation for their exceptional designs in the UN@80 Stamp Design Competition. Their achievement stands as a testament to creativity, dedication, and the power of passion.

On 25th October 2025, the Principal conducted a Staff Training Programme focused on enhancing Emotional Quotient, refining articulation and communication skills, and improving work efficiency through various effective strategies. The session was well-received, and the staff expressed their appreciation for the insightful and practical learning experience.

From 14th to 16th October 2025, Language Intra-Week Competitions were conducted, where students across grades enthusiastically showcased their linguistic talents. The competitions, held in Tamil, French, and Arabic, aimed to inspire creative expression and enhance language proficiency through a range of engaging activities such as Debate, Just a Minute, Essay Writing, and Quiz.

On 9th October 2025, MWA School hosted a Moms’ Day Programme, featuring Mrs. Jyothi Thomas — social entrepreneur, educator, and motivational speaker — who encouraged mothers to embrace homepreneurship with confidence, emphasizing that self-growth and leadership begin at home and naturally extend to the community.

On 15th October 2025, a Value Education Meet was conducted, during which Mrs. Ummu Saif, the Guest Speaker, encouraged students of Classes VI to IX to be mindful digital citizens and reminded them that though technology connects us, wisdom must guide the way we use it.

On 9th October 2025, Apsara held an engaging handwriting workshop for UKG to Class II, who taught little hands that every good letter begins with the right grip.

The Management of MWA witnessed the inauguration of the newly constructed Bilquis Chida Prayer Hall, featuring a dedicated wudu area, washrooms, a board room, and two spacious, well-ventilated classrooms. The ceremony concluded with the members offering their salah in the new prayer hall, marking a moment of gratitude and reflection.

MWA School management organized a memorable trip for our teachers to Coco Retreat Farm House on 6th September 2025. The day brimmed with laughter, games, and shared moments that strengthened bonds and celebrated togetherness, a thoughtful gesture reflecting how deeply MWA values its teaching community.

On 15 October 2025, the school stage came alive with a Dramatics Competition inspired by Shakespeare’s plays. Students poured heart, humour, and imagination into performances that captured the spirit of theatre at its finest.

On 13 October 2025, teachers and students honoured by Vels University for their excellence in teaching and academics were warmly felicitated by the Principal, making it a proud moment for the entire school community.

On 7 October 2025, the school hosted a Legal Awareness Programme for Standards X–XII, where Advocate R. Sachin Raj’s engaging address bridged law, ethics, and creativity, inspiring students to view justice through intellect and imagination.

The Annual General Meeting was held on 27th September 2025, presided over by Mrs Nikhath Fathima, President of The MWA School.

The members of the Executive Committee and the General Body members witnessed the occasion. The day was marked by the inauguration of the Bilquis Chida Prayer Hall.

The event began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Ms Sharifa Azeez, Executive Committee member, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Dr Ayesha Begum and the placement of the Holy Qur’an in the Prayer Hall by the Secretary, Dr Chand Begum.

The President extended her heartfelt thanks to all donors and well-wishers, whose generous contributions made this milestone possible.

On 30th August 2025, the Digital Media and Communication Club of MWA got creative with Canva! Students explored the art of designing eye-catching posters, learning to blend colours, text, and visuals to bring their ideas to life.

It was a proud moment for MWA when the Principal represented the school at the National Seminar on Mathematics – The Gateway to Emerging Trends of Technology 2025 at Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women. Her participation reflected the vision and spirit that continues to inspire our students and staff.

On 3th September, our young artists from KG to 8th grade brought their imagination to life in a spirited drawing competition. Every classroom was abuzz with with the sound of pencils on paper and by the end of the day, colourful art pieces covered every wall and bright smiles covered every face!

Our bright stars of grade 2 A won the Best class Award for the month of August, for their curiosity, teamwork, consistent effort during the month.

On 2nd September 2025, our young writers from grades VII–XII were felicitated for their winning entries in the TATA Building Essay Competition, by the Principal of MWA.

Mrs. Jabeen was honoured with the Best Supporting Staff Award for the month of August, celebrating her outstanding commitment, and invaluable contribution to school.

Grade 12 B was honoured with the Best Class Award for the month of August 2025, as a recognition for their teamwork, dedication, and consistent performance.

On 30th August 2025, the Leadership Club of MWA performed a play on resolving conflicts. Students practiced empathy, fairness, and teamwork, discovering how thoughtful leadership inspires a team to succeed.

The Eco Club of MWA turned their classrooms into mini gardens on 30th August. Students brought bottles, decorated, and planted hydro plants in them. They brought a bit of nature indoors and reminded everyone about the calm that a bit of greenery can bring into a space.

On 30th August 2025, the Deen and Life Club of MWA encouraged peer-to-peer learning as students prepared and delivered speeches on the importance of Salah. This initiative not only deepened their understanding but also helped them gain confidence in public speaking.

On 18th August 2025, the MWA School Nursery students staged a delightful play on Community Helpers. Dressed as doctors, pilots, farmers, and more, they celebrated everyday heroes in their own creative way.

On 12th August 2025, during the PTA Meeting, the Principal looked back on the achievements and milestones reached during the previous year, and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to safety, growth, and excellence.

On 12th August 2025, students from Classes VII–XII took part in the TATA Building Essay Competition, reimagining India as a Self-Reliant Country with youthful vision and powerful words.

On 9th August 2025, our Higher Secondary students delivered a thought-provoking Anti-Drug Awareness Skit, to educate their peers on the ill effects of drug use, and inspire them to help create a healthier tomorrow.

On 13th August 2025, the Principal continued the Vision & Victory Series with Grades X and XII, highlighting how discipline, smart planning, and steady effort shape success not only for their upcoming board exams, but for life. It was an interesting session that boosted morale of students to work harder.

On August 10, 2025, the Principal addressed parents at an orientation on Child Abuse Awareness & POCSO, emphasizing the need to recognize early signs, equip children with safety rules, and strengthen the parent-school bond for a secure future.

On 10th August 2025, M.W.A held the Intra-School Hifz Finals, where students recited what they had memorized from the Holy Qur'an in front of an audience that included members of the school's management.

MWA celebrated the English Intra-Week from4th to 8th August, during which our students experienced a week full of literary exposure. From rhymes, and debates, to handwriting and grammar battles, our students participated in every event with enthusiasm!

At the Zonal Athletics Meet, MWA School students displayed exceptional talent! Sunakshi (XI B) and J. Kaashifa (XII A) earned second place in Javelin Throw, while Nithya Shree secured second place in the Under-19 Long Jump.

In the Under-14 category, Atchaya Priya S won second place and Thaaseen Fathima bagged third place in Long Jump.

On 5th August 2025, Zohara S (Std XI), Haneen (Std XII), Salma Afroze I (Std IX), and Thapsira (Std IX) won top honours in singles and doubles at the Zonal Level Carrom Tournament in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories. Great job girls!
