● Ms Lubna Suha of NIOS won the 1st prize in the Art competition conducted for the dyslexic children by Soroptomist, Chennai.
● Students of Std VI to XII participated in Excellencia 2019 competition conducted by the SIO on 06.08.19 at Kamaraj Arangam. The results were as follows:
⋙ Ms B Swetha of Std XII B won the second prize in English creative writing in the Seniors category.
⋙ Ms Adeeba Nigar of std X A won the third prize in English creative writing in the Seniors category.
⋙ Ms Aqila Fathima of std XII Sc won the first prize in Tamil Just a Minute competition.
⋙ Ms Hida of Std VII won the third prize in English Oration.
⋙ Students of the Remedial Department and NIOS students participated in the ‘Advantage Dyslexia’ competitions conducted by MDA on 18.08.19. Ms. Muneera of NIOS won the III place and received a cash prize of Rs 250/-.
⋙ Ms. Nowrin Nafia of Std XII A & Ms. Shahana Khanam of XII Sci won the 3rd prize in the Computer Wizard competition held at M.E.S. Razeena Mat. Hr. Sec. School on 14.11.2019.
⋙ 6 students of Std IX participated in the NIE Quiz organised by The Hindu on 27.11.2019.
⋙ 3 students of Std IX participated in the “Road Safety Quiz” organised by Hyundai Motors on 27.11.2019. Our Education Minister, Mr. Sengottaiyan, had inaugurated the programme at St Ebba’s School.
